Five Reservists from NR U.S. European Command Det 208 are in Bratislava, Slovakia for Combined Endeavor ‘12 initial planning conference. The team is heading the evaluation director syndicate and coordinating exercise support with 35 nations and organizations in advance of the largest computer information system interoperability exercise in the world.

Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron-15 (HM-15) is supporting Exercise Bold Alligator, a joint multi-national exercise off the coast of North Carolina. Using two MH-53E Sea Dragons, the squadron is providing vertical onboard delivery and VIP support to USS Wasp (LHD 1), carrying U.S. and foreign flag officers, reporters and other passengers. |

Fourteen submarine force Reserve Component Sailors are providing critical force protection support to USS Frank Cable (AS 40) while she is in Portland for a two-month dry-docking Phased Maintenance Availability. Frank Cable is one of the Navy's two submarine tenders and provides maintenance support and weapons loading capability to forward deployed submarines. |

An officer from NR Expeditionary Strike Group-3 is participating in Exercise Bold Alligator aboard USS Iwo Jima (LPH 2). The officer is collecting key lessons in preparation for Exercise Dawn Blitz held later this year.
Two officers from NR 3rd Fleet Maritime Air Operations are supporting C3F at the RIMPAC 2012 Commander's Conference in Victoria, BC. The meeting of the senior leadership of the 28 nation RIMPAC exercise is a critical milestone in the planning efforts ahead of the mid-year exercise.

Rear Adm. (Sel) Deborah Haven and seven members from U.S Fleet Forces Logistics Support Unit (LSU) are supporting White Cell operations at Exercise Bold Alligator. The LSU is also augmenting the USFF Maritime Operations Center and Logistics Readiness Center and is conducting research and compiling logistics readiness information for daily briefings and for the Logistics Coordination Board comprised of logistics representatives from all the ships and shore facilities participating in Bold Alligator. The LSU is scheduled to provide over 1,400 man hours of direct support to the exercise. |

20 Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Twenty-Three (NMCB 23) are serving with five U.S. Marine Corps Combat Engineers as Seabee Detachment SWIFT, currently deployed to Callao, Peru, completing refurbishment projects at three local schools. This is the fourth of five scheduled engagements for High Speed Vessel (HSV) SWIFT’s 2012 Southern Partnership Station deployment.
NMCB 23 Det Guyana is conducting Exercise-Related Construction (ERC) Projects in support of the upcoming Special Operations Command South Exercise Fused Response 2012, scheduled in March 2012. The projects include improving facilities and infrastructure that will be used to host forces from many Partner Nations during the exercise.
Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Twenty-Three (NMCB 23) Det. Guantanamo Bay, (GTMO) Cuba, work on two projects at U.S. Naval Base GTMO.
Navy Reserve Frigate USS McClusky (FFG 41) is underway in the Eastern Pacific with an embarked U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment, conducting Combating Transnational Organized Crime Operations in the U.S. Southern Command Area of Responsibility. This follows a successful interdiction carried out February 4, 2012, in which McClusky and the embarked Coast Guard Det. seized 18 bales (450 kilos) of cocaine off a suspected drug-running panga boat. |

An RC officer is serving as the Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS) liaison officer at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan and leading PGSS installations and operations in support of U.S. Army and Marine Corps Task Force ISR missions at 50 Forward Operating Bases throughout OEF.
An RC Officer and four RC Enlisted members are assigned to Forward Deployed Combat Repair Det. Afghanistan. By providing depot-level maintenance and battle-damage repair to Navy and Marine Corps aircraft in theater, the Det. is saving an average of $500,000 per aircraft and adding two additional weeks of aircraft availability.
The Forward Deployed Combat Repair Det. completed inspections on nine CH-53D aircraft after six days of intense efforts to return all nine helicopters to full mission capability and flight status following a recent Class A Mishap involving a CH-53D and the loss of its crew. |

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Twenty Four (NMCB 24) out of Greenville, S.C. celebrated the 90th birthday of Franklin Rupert Hames a World War II Veteran Seabee. Seabees from NMCB 24, NMCB 23 and NMCB 14 are continuing to work to complete the construction of a 1,800 square foot dormitory addition to the Fire Department, at Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex Base, Chesapeake, Va.
Seabees from NMCB 24 detachments Greenville S.C., Atlanta Ga. and Columbia S.C. met in Columbia S.C. to complete training in basic combat skills and phase two of the combat skills training with a 100% completion rate. |

Serving as the Flag Aide to Chief Engineer, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, a Navy Reserve Lieutenant (junior grade) Information Professional from NR USFF MOC Greensboro prepared the 1-star admiral for a meeting with Commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, a 2-star admiral, on the subject of Single Information Technology Technical Authority. This topic is one of the most important elements of the COMSPAWARSYSCOM Guiding Principles of 2012 and is of significant interest to the CNO and the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development & Acquisition. |

Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 24, from Huntsville, AL is the leading Battalion in the development of a training project for junior troops of three Battalions. NMCB 14, 23, and 24, currently have personnel working on a 1,800 square foot dormitory addition to the fire department, at Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex Base, Chesapeake, VA. All seven rates of the Seabees are receiving complex training in their rate and outside of their rate that will considerably improve their overall confidence and skill level in the construction industry. |

67 Sailors from Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) Gulfport are mobilized at home and around the globe. Located in the home of the East Coast Seabees, NOSC Gulfport has 415 Sailors in 20 units providing support to the Navy and Marine Corps Team throughout the full range of operations from peace to war. |

Two pilots, including a commander and lieutenant commander pilots, as well as five enlisted crew members are on detachment to Naples, Italy, flying a C-130T Hercules transport aircraft providing logistical support for 20 days. |

Two lieutenant commanders and two second class petty officers are currently on detachment to Bahrain - a 17 day detachment flying in support of Commander Task Force (CTF) 53 flying throughout the Gulf, Middle East, Africa, and Afghanistan.
One lieutenant commander, one senior chief petty officer and one second class petty officer are currently mobilized providing direct operational support to VR-58.
Five Officers, and four enlisted are drilling today to assist FTS staff in preparation for our Drill Weekend, Operations Support, Maintenance Support, and inspection prep. |
