Master Chief Jerry E. Dotson

Master Chief Dotson was born in Garden Grove, CA and raised in
Sacramento, CA. He enlisted in the Navy on July 29, 2002, and
attended recruit training and Electricians Mate “A” School in Great
Lakes, IL.

Upon graduating “A” school, he received orders to Shore Intermediate
Maintenance Activity (SIMA), Ingleside, TX. During this tour, he
worked for 51-A motor rewind shop. Upon his transfer, he advanced to
EM2. In March 2004, he was transferred to USS RODNEY M. DAVIS
(FFG-60), stationed in Everett, WA. While onboard he attained his
Enlisted Surface Warfare designation and Engineering Officer of the
Watch. He deployed to Southern Pacific in support of Counter-
Narcotics Terrorism Operations. During the 2007 deployment, the
Coast guard credited RODNEY M. DAVIS with the first liquid cocaine
seizures in the Eastern Pacific. He was promoted to EM1 under the Command Advancement Program.
In December 2009, he transferred to Navy Reserve Center, Everett, WA where he started serving as the
Command Career Counselor. After his selection to Chief Petty Officer, he was appointed as the Senior
Enlisted Leader for NOSC Everett. He then transferred to USS SIMPSON (FFG-56) home ported in
Mayport, FL as the Electrical Division LCPO, in July 2013. While onboard, he was selected to Senior
Chief and completed two AFRICOM Deployments.

In November 2015, he reported to Navy Reserve Center Phoenix as the Command Senior Chief. He was
selected for Master Chief during this tour. In December 2018, he reported to VP-69 as the Command
Master Chief. VP-69 was the recipient of the 2019 CNAFR CAPT David McCampbell Trophy and
Squadron of the Year. At VP-69, he deployed in the squadron's first-ever self-mobilization to the 7 th  Fleet
Area of Responsibility in 2019 and 2020. He also qualified for the Enlisted Air Warfare Specialist
(EAWS) during this tour.

In February 2022, he assumed the duties as the Command Master Chief for Navy Reserve Region
Readiness and Mobilization Command Everett serving 16 Navy Reserve Centers. Currently, he is the
Command Master Chief for Commander, Naval Information Force Reserve (CNIFR) the first CNIFR
CMC to be chosen from the TAR (Training and Administration of the Reserve) community.
He earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Columbia College of Missouri and is a graduate
of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 190 (Brown) and Command Master Chief
Course, Class 149. He is also a graduate of the Keystone Course (Defense University 26-1), Navy
Leadership Senior Seminar, and FELIX.

His Decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps
Commendation Medal (2 awards) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards) and various
service and campaign awards. He attributes all of his personal awards and successes to his family,
mentors and the Sailors with whom he had proudly served exemplifying the Navy’s Core Values.

Rear Adm. Luke Frost is a Surface Warfare Officer with extensive operational, command, and strategic leadership experience across the fleet. He has served in senior command roles at sea and ashore, including command of major surface combatants and amphibious forces operating throughout the Central Command and Indo-Pacific areas of responsibility. As a Flag Officer, Rear Adm. Frost served as Director, Reserve Warfare (OPNAV N0959) on the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations, where he provided oversight and strategic guidance for Reserve force integration and readiness. Command Master Chief Louvier enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1997 and brings extensive aviation maintenance and readiness leadership experience across multiple Fleet Logistics, Strike Fighter, Helicopter, and Reserve aviation commands. Selected as a Command Master Chief in 2015, he has served in senior enlisted leadership roles at VR-56, Commander, Tactical Support Wing, Fleet Readiness Center Reserve Mid-West, and currently serves as the Command Master Chief for Commander, Naval Air Force Reserve. An Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist, he is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy and multiple executive leadership programs and has earned numerous personal and unit awards for sustained excellence in leadership and mission readiness.
